The Dementia Community offers 29 Single Bedrooms & 2 Double Bedrooms with En-Suite walk in Wet Rooms. Assisted bathing facilities are also available to all of our residents.
The Community is specifically designed to provide the best living space for those with are living with Dementia. Bright spacious corridors and sensory communal areas which stimulate appetite and activity. Our staff are specially trained to offer support, retain independence, choice and dignity.
Our activities team plan a yearly programme of varied activities which provide One to Ones, Group sessions and external entertainment such as Singers and Therapy Husky Dog visits.
Our Sensory Gardens offer an experience of the outdoors with stimulating the sensors with our Water Fountain, Herb Garden and Gardening Shed. The pathways are constructed to offer a continuous walkway around the gardens and benches place to face the fantastic countryside views.
